WQB Mold Removal is a La Vergne, TN-based remediation company built around one idea: tell the customer the truth about what's in their walls, then fix it properly the first time.
Our field techs are equipped with negative-air machines, HEPA filtration units, and borescopes for checking inside wall cavities without tearing the whole thing open unnecessarily.
Licensed, insured, and background-checked before they ever knock on your door, our team treats your home like it's the one they'd want worked on.
A lot of La Vergne, TN homeowners have already paid someone once for a job that didn't hold up, which is part of why we document every step with photos and lab data rather than asking you to take our word for it.
We also work directly with a network of La Vergne-area contractors when a job needs drywall replacement, plumbing repair, or roofing work after remediation is complete, so you're not left juggling three different companies.
Not every mold problem announces itself with a visible black patch on the ceiling.
If a room smells like a wet basement no matter how much you air it out, mold is the most likely culprit. Candles and air fresheners might mask it for an afternoon, but the smell almost always returns by the next day.
Any La Vergne property with a prior roof leak, burst pipe, or flooding event is at higher risk if the drying wasn't done professionally. We can check behind an old repair with a moisture meter in under an hour to put your mind at ease either way.
Sneezing, coughing, or headaches that improve when you leave the house and return when you're back inside are a classic mold indicator. Air quality testing can confirm or rule out mold as the cause before you spend money chasing the wrong culprit.
By the time spotting is visible on a painted wall, the growth has usually been active for weeks already. A quick photo sent to our office can sometimes help us gauge urgency before you even schedule a visit.
Every job starts with an inspection, not a guess, so the scope of work matches what's really growing behind your walls.
Our emergency teams arrive with containment barriers and air scrubbers ready to deploy the moment they walk in. We also photograph the damage extensively on arrival, which helps considerably if you end up filing an insurance claim afterward.
We isolate the affected area with plastic sheeting and negative air pressure so spores don't spread to the rest of your La Vergne home during the work. Affected drywall, insulation, and carpet padding are bagged and removed according to protocol rather than just tossed loose in a truck bed.
Our commercial crews coordinate with property managers on phased containment so parts of the building can stay operational during treatment. We're comfortable working evenings or weekends on commercial jobs when that's what keeps a La Vergne business running without interruption.
Buying a La Vergne home? A pre-purchase mold inspection can catch problems a standard home inspection misses entirely. A written inspection report is available for real estate transactions, refinancing, or your own peace of mind about a La Vergne property.
Attic mold often traces back to poor roof ventilation or bathroom exhaust fans venting into the attic instead of outside. We often find the crawl space is the real source of a musty smell upstairs, even in La Vergne homes where the visible living space looks perfectly clean.
For La Vergne properties with chronic humidity issues, we design a long-term moisture control plan, not just a one-time fix. A small investment in prevention is almost always cheaper than paying for the same remediation twice.
No surprises, no vague timelines โ here's exactly what happens once you call +1-844-578-1604.
A quick phone conversation helps us bring the right equipment on the first visit instead of a second trip. Have a rough sense of when the problem started if you can โ it helps us plan the visit.
We walk the property with a moisture meter and, when needed, take air or surface samples for lab analysis. We point out exactly what we're seeing as we go, not just at the end.
Negative air machines keep spores from traveling to unaffected rooms while the work is underway. Daily progress updates are available if you're not on-site during the work.
A final clearance test confirms spore counts are back to normal before we consider the job finished. Any lingering questions get answered on the spot before we pack up.
Our estimates are itemized line by line, which means you know exactly what you're paying for and why.
We keep a dedicated crew covering La Vergne, TN so response times don't balloon during peak humidity season.
We hand you lab results and a written scope of work, giving you something concrete beyond our word.
Our promise is simple: if the treated area shows regrowth tied to our workmanship within the warranty period, we return and correct it free of charge.
We also try to be upfront about what we can't fix on day one โ if a La Vergne home has an underlying roof or plumbing issue causing repeat moisture intrusion, we'll say so plainly instead of quietly re-treating the same spot every year.
Local reputation matters more to a small La Vergne-area crew than a national franchise ever has to worry about, and that keeps us honest about scope, pricing, and timelines.
If regrowth tied to our workmanship shows up within the warranty window, we come back to your La Vergne property and fix it at no additional cost.

The questions we hear before nearly every job.
Response time depends on scheduling load, but same-day or next-morning arrival is typical for La Vergne, TN service areas. Weekend and holiday calls are still answered by our on-call dispatcher rather than routed to voicemail.
Yes โ every job gets a flat-rate, itemized quote before any work begins, so there's no surprise invoice at the end. If we discover additional damage once we open a wall, we'll stop and get your approval before doing any extra work or adding any cost.
Emergency dispatch is available 24/7 for situations where waiting even a day could worsen the damage. Emergency visits include temporary containment to keep the problem from spreading while the full remediation plan is put together.
We collect air or surface samples and send them to an independent lab for species identification and spore-count analysis. Knowing the species matters because some, like Stachybotrys, call for stricter containment protocols than common surface mildew.
Coverage depends on your policy and the cause of the moisture, so we recommend calling your insurer, and we can supply documentation to support a claim. Our detailed photo documentation and written scope of work are formatted to make the claims process as painless as possible.
Timeline depends on the square footage affected and whether structural materials need to be removed and replaced. We'll give you a realistic timeline estimate after the initial inspection rather than a generic number pulled from a brochure.
Anyone with asthma or mold sensitivities may want to arrange alternate accommodations during larger jobs, and we'll advise based on scope. Pets are usually fine staying in an unaffected part of the La Vergne home, but we'll flag any exceptions during the walkthrough.
Our containment and air scrubbing protocols are designed to protect the rest of the household while work is underway. Once we complete post-remediation testing and the numbers come back clean, the space is safe to use normally again.
Every job addresses the moisture source, not just the visible growth, because treating symptoms without fixing the cause almost guarantees regrowth. If the same conditions caused a prior remediation to fail, we'll flag that risk clearly before starting the new job.
Call +1-844-578-1604 to ask about current inspection options for your La Vergne address, as availability can vary by season. Even a phone consultation before scheduling can help you understand whether what you're seeing warrants a visit.
"Removal" implies eliminating all mold entirely, which isn't realistic since spores exist naturally everywhere, while "remediation" means returning spore levels to a normal, safe range. Any company promising 100% mold removal is stretching the truth, since outdoor and indoor air both naturally carry some spore count.
DIY treatment can also mask a problem temporarily, which sometimes delays proper remediation until the issue has spread further. Bleach also doesn't address whatever moisture condition allowed mold to grow in the first place, so the same spot often returns within weeks.
